WARNING: Severe thunderstorms expected

The South African Weather Service has issued a ‘severe weather watch’ status alert throughout Gauteng, with a possibility of severe thunderstorms  between 2pm and 6pm later today (6 April)  .

There is a 60 per cent chance of rain in Joburg, and humidity is expected to reach a maximum of 90 per cent.

Residents are urged to use caution when conducting outdoor activities, and take the weather into consideration when driving.
