Bradford was knocked down by one of the three drivers who was allegedly involved in an altercation with the police at a shebeen on Rabie Street, just prior to the incident.

Jacques said they would like the senseless drinking and driving to completely stop. Meanwhile, an appeal to track down the drivers of three vehicles which were moving in a convoy was still standing. Andre Synman posted on eBlockwatch’s Facebook page, appealing for camera footage which could help trace the three vehicles.

The vehicles were a white Land Rover, blue BMW and the third vehicle was just identified as blue in colour. The blue BMW collided with the cyclist.

Bradford was thrown more than 20m and sustained severe injuries.
