Residents will host a peaceful protest against the removal of the finance minister last week.

The peaceful protest will take place on 7 April along Conrad Dr, Blairgowrie from 7am to 8.30am.

Residents will stand on pavements with placards and will not interfere with the flow of traffic.

Due to the public gathering laws, small groups will spread out Conrad Dr, rather than gather in a crowd at a single location.

Blairgowrie Community Association member Karen Barras said that residents are encouraged to walk down their streets to the Conrad intersection closest to them and gather with people that are not in groups of more than 15 people.

“Residents are welcome to bring staff, children, the elderly, friends and neighbours who wish o join them. The more people, the better,” said Barras.
