At their annual Mark Dag recently, Trinityhouse Preparatory School Randpark Ridge raised R30 000 for the Animal Anti Cruelty League.

The school’s Grade 4 classes are said to have pulled out all the stops to help various charity organisations. The league’s public relations officer, Heather Cowie said the organisation was extremely grateful for the gracious donation.

Cowie furthered explained that this annual tradition has managed to encourage young entrepreneurs while also raising funds to help those in numerous charity organisations. She shared that the R30 000, when added to the total money received over the past 13 years, adds up to the fantastic sum of R217 000.

“Well done and congratulations to all the Grade 4s and their teachers! This goes without saying just how much we appreciate your hard work and kindness,” said Cowie.

She concluded with a passionate conviction and advised that the money would be put to very good use.
