What an inspiring story about Natashia Bearam-Edmunds in the Randburg Sun a few weeks ago.
My son is a huge fan of Natashia’s and has managed to improve his maths marks by watching her excellent teaching on the Learning Channel.
I also listen to her on Radio Today for an intelligent chat and great music and one of my favourite features is the Caxton News reviews you guys do on Sundays. It is so informative especially in the weeks when I don’t have time to read the paper.
I’m so glad to see your newspaper feature stories such as this on the people who make a real difference in our communities, rather than yet another overrated SA celeb at the latest launch of something or the other.
I’d like to see more stories such as this – good educators are role models that are seldom celebrated and they are the true heroes in society.
